Oregon's soil produces amazing fruits and vegetables. Its vineyards grow grapes that make award-winning wines. Its hops are the reason Portland has more breweries than any other city in the world. Its ocean provides sustainably caught salmon, Dungeness crab and tuna. And its beef, pork and chicken are organic and raised to the highest standards. It grow much of the country's hazelnuts, marionberries and green beans. And its forests are home to so many exotic mushrooms the Japanese have us on speed dial. Best of all, it has marvelous chefs who know what to do with all this abundance. So Bon Appetit decided it's high time to have their own world-class celebration of food, drink and everything else that makes Portland awesome. They're calling it Feast Portland. Full Sail will be participating in the Oregon Bounty Grand Tasting on Friday with our LTD 06 Black Bock and Session Fest. For the Night Market Event, we will be pouring our IPA and Session Black.
At the heart of the festival is a mission to end childhood hunger in Oregon and in our country. A state where food is so plentiful should not also rank as one of the hungriest in the nation. This is part of the four-day dynamic exchange of ideas, inspiration and dialogue that Feast Portland will create with food enthusiasts from Oregon, across the U.S. and around the globe.
