This bourbon-barrel aged porter is silky and chocolaty with some musty walnut and maple flavors. The scent reminded us of port and expensive leather, vanilla and wheat... we felt like the hoppy edge keeps this beer in balance.
Founded in 1987, Full Sail Brewing Co. is in the middle of big beer country in Oregon. They make a few pretty hefty brews themselves, but the brewery also is leading the way in a craft beer revival of sessionable brews.
